Will never again be early adopter of Nikon gear. Did that with D800 and never again. Worked out in the end but required a return to Nikon for 3 month old camera. Most likely will get 850 but not for at least 8 months
I have the bad habit of buying without selling. Now I'm stuck with an F F2as F3 F4 F5 F6 D200 D500 and D800. What a sucker. Probably a D850 when it goes on sale.

With nikons it is advised not to use matrix metering with polarizers
