The Sony RX10iii has a reduced price. Earlier, it was selling new for $1500. Great camera. I have seen others with it at events. And it has a focal range to 600mm, and has a very good Zeiss lens. Images posted on this forum have been excellent for a Bridge camera. I would choose, Adorama, B&H, or Cameta for a purchase.. Neither of those shops will scam you. Just do not buy one from 42nd Street Photo Shop.

Izzy, I don't know anything about Sony but most manufacturers have VERY strict Minimum and Maximum SRP's.
So my guess you need to be prepared to be racked over the coals!!
Try a place like Cameta which has Package deals to sweeten the pot. I've bought from them and negotiated trading all the junk for a few nice memory cards and a battery that I COULD use so came out ahead. Just let the house win and it's a good situation for them.
Good luck!

Adorama, Amazon, B&H, Cameta, Costco, Crutchfield, Hunt's, KEH, Robert's, and probably some others. An authorized dealer will be approved by the manufacturer, so it will be reputable, and the prices will be just about the same from one seller to another. If someone is selling at a significantly lower price, then it's either gray market or unauthorized.

Look for refurbished or used to save money.

If you contact KEH on line I'm sure you will be able to find a very good (Like new) used camera.
They offer money back if you are not happy and comes with a guarantee. I buy all my stuff from them,
and have never been disappointed.

I found Focus Camera to be good, just bought a travel camera from them. I also use Adorama, but Focus had a little better price, this time.

B&H and Adorama. Yes, those camer's are more expensive at these two locations than the ones you found. And there is usually a reason if the camera is offered at a great savings or one offered at a price that is hard to believe. THERE IS A REASON. If you need an explanation as to why then it is already too late for you.

The demand for this camera is very HIGH .The reality is you MAY be racked over the coals ! Take what you can get and be GLAD ! At release, the MSRP was $1498 and there was a waiting list and they were selling at $1600 most places ! Since most people who got one are keeping it, not many used out there to be had. You WILL have to shop hard.

If you have a local camera store, like I do, they may be able to match the price is you show them another. Depending on where you are and the store is you may have to pay sales tax. I like supporting the local dealer since they have classes and help if you need it.
