The reason those American dead in WW2 are in graveyards through out Europe is not due to import but because American soldiers were killed in those countries, saving them from conquest by the Germans

I guess one of the famous quote of Admiral Isorku Yamamato (man in charge of the Pearl Harbor attack) said "I fear we have awoken a sleeping giant" because during the first wave of the Attack on Pearl Harbor, ..." He was well acquainted with America since he went go to school in America. I would speculate that quote does show his fear! And his knowledge of Americans.

Two - the reason for the attack on Pearl Harbor was because they feared the USA and wanted to try to temporarily knockout our influence in the Pacific. Yes they knew it would only be temporary because they want a stronger foothold than what they had, then sue for peace. Read your history books. That is also fear of Americans.

They were afraid of the American population. Actually the proof is in the pudding. Their military lost and had good reason to be afraid!
