The Earth is shaped like a pizza with raised edges so the oceans don’t spill over and get the turtles all wet.

Would I weigh more or less at the equator than at a pole? I took a Caribbean cruise, which is closer to the equator than home and I weighed several pounds more at the end of the cruise. Proof is in the pudding!

Pudding being the operative word. I find too much of it increases my weight.

Actually, the earth isn't exactly round. Like most spinning rocky planets over a certain mass its a bit bigger around it's horizontal axis of rotation. I think it's called an ovoid.
According to a story Richard Dawkins published in The God Delusion an old lady at a public lecture by a famous scientist stated that it was "a well known fact" that the earth sat on the back of a giant turtle which stood on the back of another turtle, etc. When he asked her what the last turtle stood on she called him a fool and told him "it's turtles all the way down."

It's worth it, though, right? Especially with whipped cream. I find that whipped cream goes with almost anything.

One wonders what a flat-earther thinks a satellite does?

Yes, you have to wonder. Still, looking at pictures of the earth from satellites, it does look flat - just like a pancake.

Our planet Earth is NOT round--not perfectly round, anyway-- it is what the scientist people call an "Oblate Spheriod." That means that it's NEARLY round, but flattened very slightly at the poles, preventing perfectly spherical shape. This is your useless fact for today.

So THAT'S why my horizons are never level.

Where is the logic in sending a satellite in orbit? What orbit could be on a flat earth? The project itself is proof that this is not serious or really believed.
