Fortunately for science, rapper B.o.B is raising money to put a satellite into orbit to see if the earth is really round. As anyone can plainly see, the horizon is a straight, flat line, so how could the earth be round?

I have seen the curvature of the earth with my own eyes. In 1966 I took a T-38 Talon up to over 50,000 feet where you could clearly see the curvature of the earth. It was a beautiful and impressive sight.

Are there so many stupid people out there? Well - actually, the article says only $1700 has been raised in addition to the rapper's initial $1,000. Apparently he also doesn't believe that sending satellites into space is expensive!
