You seem to have the knack for this kp, it's attractive.

I like it a lot. Just a couple of comments. The birds eye is right smack dab in the middle of the photo. Did you try moving the bird to the left a little. Also, it looks like you put a white vignette around the parameter. I'm going back and forth on that. The stuff on the water, I would only deal with the stuff coming out of the birds head and leave the rest. Nice work.
I happen to like these type of Art interpretations.

I would like to see the bird more to the left to use the rulevof thirds. The bird is then facing into the picture. But then you would need a bush or item to balance it, David

I like what you have done with your capture ... get rid of the "stuff" in the water and you could hang this on a wall and it would make for a great conversation piece.
I like the stuff in the water. The duck floating alone in an empty space would be a lot less interesting.
Nice shot.
I totally agree...the photo needs to be nothing more than the water, the grebe and the water. Take the "stuff" out.

Thanks, Greg. I like B&W, too. In some instances, it enhances.

Thanks, Karin. It is a matter of trying over and over until it seems right. I think it only works with certain images, though.
