I do see a lot of white lenses but not all white lenses are Canon. What I'd like to see is some of your eagle shots. My brother shoots there all the time and I heek looking for a shot of him but no luck so far.

Didn't even know that Nikon made "hooters". Are refurbished models available for us older enthusiasts?

One can not tell the brand of camera by the color of the lens. There are a lot of people who use Tamron and Sigma lenses for wildlife on both Nikon and Canon bodies.

Years ago I got my first pro SLR, a Canon F-1 mechanical. Added a small stable of Canon glass and was quite content....UNTIL, Canon changed their mount when they went to AF. Looking at starting over, I decided Nikon was better since they hadn't abandoned their customers when AF came along. Haven't ever looked back and some of the glass I got for my F4s works on my digital Nikons...so that's why I think Nikon is best...just my opinion...
