I was at Canowingo Dam on Dec.17/2014[yesterday]. When I look around majority are nikon shooter . Of all the shooters , 3 of us are using Tamron 150-600.Here is part of shooter lined up by the railing.Here is the evidence.

Did you get any good eagle shots?
I'm a photojournalist and when I do activity shoots with others, 75% are shooting Canons and most are using 70-200 f2.8 lenses or the 24-70/f2.8.
I'm still looking for the "hooter" :wink:
Out of 500 shots I got 40 keepers ,that's what a newbie is.

just goes to prove nikon hooters don't have sense enough to come in out of the cold.

So, I guess Nikon hooters know just where to go for that unique, one-of-a-million capture... ;-)
Five out of nine have camouflaged lenses while standing out in the open! And I'd still rather see the hooters.
