I don't care what car you drive, just that you drive it safely. Same goes for camera gear.

And please, don't "shoot" people! Photograph them. "Shooting" "hooters" in the RAW? Please, just don't go there!

My wife tells me that there are some things that are better left unsaid ALL the time and I'm a Nikon person, awaiting my Tamron 150-600. :-)

Also, clicking on "Quote Reply" includes the text to which you are replying, as I have done.
Cheers!

But don't use square brackets inside your reply as they negate the quote and make the quote look like plain, ordinary text you typed yourself (Not you, Goofy, elsewhere on this thread. Just seemed to fit with your comment).

Out of 500 shots I got 40 keepers ,that's what a newbie is.

8%. Not bad at all. I'm really happy when I reach 10% keepers. Doesn't happen all the time. Or even most of the time. Or enough of the time.

Evidence??? Why not a wider view so we could see more of the shooters? As some of the remarks here, I'll stand by the NFL, Olympics , and Yellowstone of what I see. White out numbers the Nikon black by a bunch, a whole bunch. What is changing is there are more black lenses showing up but they are Sigma and Tamron. Both are good lenses and because of the low cost you will see more of these. Time will tell if and how long they stand up . Funny, the last two seminars that I attended, one for Nikon I didn't see any white lenses either. The can be said of the Canon event too, no black lenses. I don't think too many here care what you shoot with but would rather see the meat you were able to put on the table with your shot. Lets see at least one of your keepers...Ron

Bill is right on this point. I actually enjoy both shooting and photography and I don't want to get confused at a critical time.

It looks like everyone was focussed on fog - was there something else out there, like a Lochness (wannabe) monster.

I do see a lot of white lenses but not all white lenses are Canon. What I'd like to see is some of your eagle shots. My brother shoots there all the time and I heek looking for a shot of him but no luck so far.
