Lucian - What is an assault gun? Really. The Swiss are very near one of the two biggest gun shows in the world, it's in Germany. Nowhere in the US can anyone mail order a weapon from a catalog. maybe Matt can explain it to you. Maybe he can also explain about the rampant gun deaths, he would know, think gang related in big cities mostly long under Dem control.
Matt - I'd question any info from UC Davis, hardly unbiased. I've never seen a black helicopter tho I know two prison guards who did while a work. by the way, the feds say they're not black. They are a very deep blue.

Until very recently, as anyone who keeps up with, or has any knowledge of firearms laws in the U.S. knows, the only one of the 50 states that had no CC (concealed carry) law, was the State of Illinois. For those not familiar, Illinois is a beautiful state, it has mostly wonderful residents, but several things have always kept Illinois from being the "World Class" state that it should/could be; #1 is, the state government is corrupt; it has been for many years; to give you an idea of just how corrupt it is, out of the last six Governors of Illinois, five have gone to prison; former Governor George Ryan, (the only Republican of the bunch), was quite recently released from the Federal Penitentiary at Terre Haute; ( app. 20 miles from where I live)

The Democrat who followed Ryan, one "Rod Blogoyavitchski", (or something like that) ( everyone just calls him "Blago"; it's easier) Anyway, "Blago" attempted to SELL Obummer's U.S. Senate seat to that other notable "Statesman", former Representative, Jesse Jackson Jr. As you may have heard, it "didn't work", and now, Jesse Jr. is himself about to start "residing" in new accommodations, (with bars on the windows) ( his darling wife will be following him shortly, but she only got 1 year, unlike Jr. who will be leaving for 2 years.)

So.......as I have mentioned many times, the great State of Illinois has been "run" by CROOKS for many years now, and 92% of said crooks have been Democrats. As you probably know, Chicago is IN Illinois; Chicago is also run by crooks; about 98% of the crooks running Chicago are also.......Democrats. As everyone knows, 99.9999% of Democrats are liberals, and ALL liberals are "gun grabbers";
Which is largely why Illinois has never had a CC law; Until NOW !

Yes, the extreme pressure exerted by the 49 remaining states, has FINALLY caused the Illinois Legislature to pass a new CC law, (which the City of Chicago refused to honor), (whereby a District Judge ruled...."Oh yes you will, or else!"

So.....better not go blasting into the Windy City quite yet, as there is still much "kicking & screaming" going on.....but more or less, all 50 states NOW have at least SOME form of "carry law in affect".

There are knowledgeable people right here on this forum that I'm sure could explain all of this to any rational minded person of normal intelligence; however, as you can all plainly see, we have among us a few who are neither "rational minded", nor do they appear to have "normal intelligence".

I think it's fairly obvious "who's who". And I think it's equally obvious to anyone with a rational mind, that with the last liberal dominated state in the whole U.S.of A. finally passing a "carry" law, "we" are hardly "crumbling"!

There you see, you are doing all the things you are accusing others of doing yet when you do it it seems fine but if you suspect someone else doing some name calling then it is not so fine. Also what was being discussed here was something about guns I believe. I can't believe you even bothered to state such an obvious thing. I bet you have never seen a plane crash either so you probably don't believe in them either, but they really do exist ya know. Do a little research and I'm sure you will be able to find an investigative programme somewhere on Netflix or Youtube or Vimeo etc. that will show you, with undercover cameras, such goings on at gun shows.

Lucian, I have attended numerous gun shows and have yet to find one where NICS checks are not required. The vendors who do not use them sell jewelry, holsters, books, range bags, knives, and other items of interest to collectors. Oh, a few sell food. For a former LEO and gun enthusiast you sure lack accurate knowledge.

Like I have said there are a few investigative programmes out there such as (but not necessarily this programme)20/20 that have done stories on such things, that is where I have seen it. It would be easy for you to do a search and find a few TV programmes that have done stories on such things.

You guys seem willing to research everything so why not do a search to find a TV show that will show you what goes on. In the same way that if someone had mentioned that a gov letter agency is looking through everyone's e-mails and all phone calls you guys would not have believed it, but now that it has come out everyone knows it does happen.

Again, you probably have never seen a plane crash with your own eyes but just because you have never seen one, does that mean such things don't go on,? Same thing with the gun shows, you can't be that naive surely.
