Ah what a nice couple of days it has been away from a computer and without the mindless drivel that of some of our fellow UGLY hedgehoggers have been posting on this thread.
I've stated my piece and for those who oppose everyone's right to own a firearm without government interference, well you're entitled to your opinion, but the fact remains we have our guns and will continue to fight anyone stupid enough to try to take them. No man gave me the right to keep and bear arms, God did! Therefore no man can take that right from me.
It is quite clear that no amount of fact, logic or reason will change your minds. It is plainly evident by the posts of some of you on this thread that while ignorance is curable, stupidity is forever, and I choose not to argue with the incurably stupid any longer.
Gitzo, thanks for the support above "you just called a man many people look up to, an "asshole" you THEN accused him of "standing for" "anti-American" things;" I appreciate the show of support and the PM's from others who have privately done likewise. One sent me this quote, which I had never heard before, but I do appreciate the sentiment.

Anyone on this forum, who has read my posts can plainly see that it is not me who is "anti-American" I fight strongly for living up to the Constitution and the values of the founders. Perhaps they hope to offend me with their slanderous comments, but I am never offended by flatulence, I just move away from the stench.
The fact remains that the idiots who continue to argue about that which one has even admitted to knowing nothing about. There are also those who sink to ad homonym attacks, because they lack the maturity and intelligence to debate like an adult. These folks only continue to display to everyone reading, their immaturity and that they will continue to hold onto their stupidity as if their life depended upon it, and that really is stupid.

Plane crashes were mentioned due to the fact you said that because you have never witnessed an under the table gun sale, you did not believe such a thing existed which is rather naive. So with that reasoning plane crashes were brought up, same sort of naivety.

I do believe in plane crashes (strange as that might seem), lost a step cousin in one in 'Nam and a friend survived one. Still a stupid way to make a non point but I see it's all you're capable of.

Okay this may be the time to bring you up to speed on a few things. First off, I went back and had another read of everything and did not see anywhere that someone said I was ex-LEO, what ever that is. So was that a private message to you or something? I have no idea what LEO is other than an Astrology sign so please tell me what that is. And if someone said that to you via a private message then I can see how the cowards here work by secretly accusing people of being something that they are not without the courage to come out in the open and state that.
If that is what happened, that you got a PM from someone, don't you think you should have queried that with them and ask them for some proof? Of course I am assuming that this is what happened so I will wait to hear back from you on this one, along with what a LEO is supposed to be.

This whole thing started when all I did was comment on why the Swiss issued guns to citizens, clear up why in case others may have taken it in a wrong way, since I bet almost no one on here knew why until I pointed it out. Then things just escalated out of all proportion. People like you would take it upon themselves to invent something about me or about what I thought or where I stood on a subject but really did not know anything about me or what I really thought.
You and a few others on here keep saying I am a gun hater, despite the fact that they can find no where on here in any post that this was stated, so again their own little lies coming out to suit their own feeble assed agenda. And when I ask them to show with proof where this was said, they cower in a corner and avoid the question. These asshole are not real men or they would stand up and happily show everyone where I posted such a thing.
However, they can't point it out because it was their made up lies and they think if they ignore my request for proof it will just go away. How wrong these little school boys are, and slowly things are coming back to bite them.
This whole time I have been saying that it is easier to get a gun in the USA than in Switzerland and that guns have helped people commit suicide easier than without, which is a proven statistic. If they have time to think it through they quite often choose not to go through with it. Having a gun handy at the time of a rash ill thought means it is over in an instant compared to going out and hanging themselves or stabbing themselves to death or cutting wrists or drowning etc.
All those things, apart from hanging maybe though that too takes more time to carry through compared to a single gun shot, gives them time to rethink things and stop what they are doing and be saved. A gun does not give them that time frame.
From this you idiots have surmised that I don't like it here, that I am a gun hater, that I was a LEO what ever that is, That I am of a certain political affiliation and all from not facts at all, just their own made up opinions or fantasies to help them with their causes what ever they may be.
