Well I think I commented on some of the photos that Sooner posted and since they weren't his I would like to say that whoever posted those first, you're an amazing photographer. I'm sorry someone here was so insecure that they felt it necessary to steal to gain some attention.

The outstanding original poster is Joe F. N. If you go to his website, you will be in awe of the number of first class, brilliant shots he has. The wildlife is stunning. His flower shots show how gifted he is in capturing light and what it can do for a flower. It is endlessly amazing. I am a fangirl of his now! GO, Joe!!!

You can stop making me blush anytime now, please. I'm getting too old to walk around with a red face. So kind of you to say this and I'm quite pleased you looked in on the web site.

Seriously, ALL of your shots are compelling. I am planning on showing them in slideshow mode to my 90year old Mom tonight. I know she will love the two cardinals looking at each other, the owls, and so many of the individual bird shots. Love the limited editions, too. Just so much WOW in your stuff.
I did look at the flowers first, just before owls, and must say you get a luminance that evades a lot of photogs..... me, perhaps, and I am going to school on those shots. I appreciate seeing things to try to emulate. Ha! I won't copy them.

I really hope your Mom enjoys them. If you come across a Barred Owl, in Limited Editions, perched on a stump, with brown BG, then you'll know that that image is now hanging on a wall in Perdue University.
people please remember talk about short ropes, trees and horses on the internet when directed at a person can be seen as making death threats couple that with the posting of the "victim's" home address is a double whammy. I would hate for someone to have their local police department pay them a visit because they where trying to look cool and be part of the group.
for the OP, send the offending member an invoice for using your work as their own, hit them were it hurts, in the pocket book. that's what I did to the young lady that stole images of mine. :-)

I am not surprised and will watch for it. So many of the owls... well, you know I am drooling over them! And the birds in hand... just too, too sweet!

Let me know how your Mom reacts to them. I'd love to be there with you to explain some of the shots and how I obtained them.

OF COURSE! She just dropped off to sleep, to the show is for tomorrow. And yes, I would love to hear that narration, too. Your site is so well done, but since you mention it, did you ever consider adding a narrative/audio portion. You must have so much to offer. I noted that you have a lot of shots of what be your photo club/group. Lots of very, very nice glass there! And the outings look as if everyone was enjoying themselves. Plus the portraits of your companions..... Yeah, I am enjoying the whole site!

Did you get paid, Annie?
yes, I invoiced her for $3,000 and settled for $2,000. She called me freaking out when she realized I was willing to file charges against her and request my legal fees.as part of the settlement. Her "mistake" cost her more than $2,000 thoy, it cost her her business and her standing in her local community.
let's just say, it must not have been fun to wake up too 100 postings on your facebook business page from pi$$ed of fellow photographers outting her crime and linking back to every image she "borrowed". Her clients and family got caught in the middle, saddly.

I have yet to find a website where our perp profited, or attempted to profit, from stealing images. Bragging rights infringement is not recognized in small claims court. At least one of the photographs that he posted to this website was filched from Getty Images. I am sure that they have an attorney on retainer, who may be interested in pursuing.
