yes, I invoiced her for $3,000 and settled for $2,000. She called me freaking out when she realized I was willing to file charges against her and request my legal fees.as part of the settlement. Her "mistake" cost her more than $2,000 thoy, it cost her her business and her standing in her local community.
let's just say, it must not have been fun to wake up too 100 postings on your facebook business page from pi$$ed of fellow photographers outting her crime and linking back to every image she "borrowed". Her clients and family got caught in the middle, saddly.

OF COURSE! She just dropped off to sleep, to the show is for tomorrow. And yes, I would love to hear that narration, too. Your site is so well done, but since you mention it, did you ever consider adding a narrative/audio portion. You must have so much to offer. I noted that you have a lot of shots of what be your photo club/group. Lots of very, very nice glass there! And the outings look as if everyone was enjoying themselves. Plus the portraits of your companions..... Yeah, I am enjoying the whole site!

No, I've never given the audio any thought. The group you see in 'Personalities' is nothing more than the bunch (though not that many together) that I shoot with.
None of us belong to a club. We don't have the time since we spend so much time in the field. At least two of that group are National Geographic published. Not me though. Not even close.

? care to explain your comment? should I have let someone steal my images from my website, place their watermark on them, up load them not only to their website but their facebook page and market them as their own? should I have turned the other cheek and let her use them?
what about not only my hard work at taking the images, editing the images, all the effort I put into to learning about photography but also my clients who had put their trust in me, what about her clients who hired her based off my images, is that fair to any of them?
this isn't the first time this happened to me, it is the first time I didn't simply take a "I'm sorry, I learned my lesson I won't do it again".
oh and I didn't post in her page, actually I didn't even know she had stolen from me until I started getting emails from fellow photographers, one thing you will find out is photographers will rally around other photographers who have work stolen, they take it personally.

Troll alert!
Do not waste your time with this guy, Annie.
In 2-1/2 years, he has posted a total of four (4) photos on UHH, and spends the majority of his time in Chit-Chat forum, discussing non-photographic topics. He does not have to worry about anyone wanting to steal his posted images.
