That's all very well and good. But you shouldn't call it "photography," as that's simply not true.
Photography = the process or art of producing images of objects on sensitized surfaces by the chemical action of light or of other forms of radiant energy, as x-rays, gamma rays, or cosmic rays. (Source:

From the Greek. The meaning of ‘photo’ translates to ‘light’ while ‘graphy’ translates to ‘drawing.’ Therefore, the word photography can quite literally translate to light drawing or drawing with light. Simply put, photography is the process of capturing light to create an image. This is executed through the use of a camera, either film or digital. (Source:
StudioBinder.com).
It may be art. It may be imagery, but it isn't photography.

AI is just another form of photography.

Probably means "good for you."

Please re-read my post. At no time did I refer to AI images as "photographs". I called them either "pictures" or "images". I think most people would agree that it's highly unlikely to have a "photograph" of a dragon or ghost
You're not the trouble maker and yes, your pictures are obviously at a minimum PP creations, and as you admit AI.

Artists explore and change media all the time without shame. And they are still artists. But a painter does not claim that an "acrylic on board" is an "oil on canvas." And he doesn't claim that an oil on canvas is an acrylic on board, either.

And also posting AI topics in the AI section, although discussions of AI apps to process photographs belong in the Photography section.

I like what you are doing so, don't stop.
Keep doing what you are doing you can produce images worthy of those you mentioned
Curmudgeon, AI image generation has provided another means of creative inspiration. I compare it much like making a cake. I'm not a baker yet, I know what ingredients would make up the cake that I would enjoy having. A bit of this, and a bit of that. Oooo...add a pinch of this for it's coming along nicely. Oh, if not...scrap it and try something different. Create scenes from faraway and exotic places only limited by the commands we type and the program's ability to generate them.
It is said that "a mind is a terrible thing to waste" so let's do all we can to keep our minds active regardless of how we do it.

Clearly, youve confused me with JustFred.
The *very first* reply in this thread is me posting kudos and encouragement to you.
Unfortunately, UHH software prevents me from further editing that post now.

I keep hearing that AI is on the verge of a quantum leap, which likely will clean up all those annoying flaws. Enjoy !
Above is quoted the very first reply in this thread, quite obviously addressing the OP. Guess I hafta learn how to write in a much more simple minded manner :-(
