The Boat... Edits & Opinions welcomed

Well Tisha I am going with 3. It looks like a nice and relaxing time fishing. Just a nice easy boat ride to the fishing hole.:)And you can plainly see him driving. The shot just needs to be brightened up some and maybe a little more definition.

This is about all I know how to do in PP. I am trying to learn the fancy stuff.:)
Looks great! I have had my #'s wrong the whole time,(i think) I edited #3 1st

I like that!! Now make the water a little bluer. You did nice on the boat. Making it whiter makes the shot.

I am working on a retirement gift for my father-n-law. I plan to take one of these images and transfer it to a large piece of wood. Just curious which one you would use and feel free to edit and show your vision. Be creative! I am about to start editing them all. My vision is more rustic, almost painted on the wood and sanded away. All of the images were taken with 50mm 1.4 at f/9 ISO100 A 1/500
Thanks in advance for your input!
Started with #1, I will go to #3 next. What do you think of the sky?

#1 I would flip it so it is going right to left. When looking at a newspaper or picture we look at the right side first. Just my thought. all are great pictures. - Dave
Such a great idea! Working on that one now.......and done!
Dave I had it wrong the whole time.... I thought #1 was #3

Good suggestions all. The only thing i can add is make the horizon straighter.

LOVE the angle of #2 BUT, I love that the horizon is level in #1 and the name of the boat can be plainly seen. I also disagree with the flip idea. I like #1 best just as it is

I am still going with the last one! Nice job!!

Thanks for the tip, noticed after I posted the before and afters. Here are my adjustments to the horizon.
Thanks again!
OK, now that you have edited, I like the last one best too. He is heading toward the light, but be sure you know where this will hang. You don't want the boat to be on a small section of wall, headed toward the corner of the room. (a little interior design kicking in there)
OOPS, you added 2 more pix before I hit send. Be sure to level that horizon too. If not, all your water is going to spill out one side or the other.

Thank you so much for the comments. Someone else mentioned the horizon so I made 1 & 3 as straight I could. It seems to be a toss up between those. :D
Both look really good now. Love the water in the top one and what you did with the sky in both.

Thanks so much Erv! I am at a standstill between 1 & 3... Not much time to make my decision. :D

Very nice crisp, clear shots. I would prefer to have the boat coming toward me rather then going away. Just my thought.

I have not graduated to the PP yet, but to me the sky looks great in this post.
So did your husband hijack your father-n-law's boat or is it his son's boat he would like a picture of?

Now is all this attention to detail going to show up on a burned on wood presentation?
