I am working on a retirement gift for my father-n-law. I plan to take one of these images and transfer it to a large piece of wood. Just curious which one you would use and feel free to edit and show your vision. Be creative! I am about to start editing them all. My vision is more rustic, almost painted on the wood and sanded away. All of the images were taken with 50mm 1.4 at f/9 ISO100 A 1/500
Thanks in advance for your input!

Thank you Pat! I think I will definitely zoom in. I just didn't want to before I posted them so I could see what others would do with the photos.
Thanks so much for taking a peek! :D

#1 I would flip it so it is going right to left. When looking at a newspaper or picture we look at the right side first. Just my thought. all are great pictures. - Dave

I like #2 best for the Action of the water, however you cannot see the boat name and that may be important to you father-n-law.
Shot #3 might show both the boat name and a clearer shot of who I must assume is your father-n-law if these are shots of his boat.

I have to disagree with the flip it idea. First of all, in our culture we look in the same manner as we read; i.e., left to right and top to bottom. But, more importantly in this case a horizontal flip will cause the name of the the boat to read backwards. . .not a good idea for a gift of the boat owner.

Thanks! :-D It is actually my husband. Planning to down play the red so that he is not as noticeable, but I really would like the name to be pretty visible.

Well Tisha I am going with 3. It looks like a nice and relaxing time fishing. Just a nice easy boat ride to the fishing hole.:)And you can plainly see him driving. The shot just needs to be brightened up some and maybe a little more definition.
Erv
This is about all I know how to do in PP. I am trying to learn the fancy stuff.:)
