Hi
1 & 3 good shot # 2 is a great shot a list to the boat spray all show action. A storm in the distance would make it more dramatic so its the boat that is the focal point. Put the name on brass tag and that will be your title.

My first try at putting a photo on wood. I was told to use a laser print. Office Max 2 for a couple of bucks. The goop at a craft store was about 10 bucks I think. Painted the goop on and then put the photo on and waited overnight. This AM finger rubbed the paper off with water.

I am working on a retirement gift for my father-n-law. I plan to take one of these images and transfer it to a large piece of wood. Just curious which one you would use and feel free to edit and show your vision. Be creative! I am about to start editing them all. My vision is more rustic, almost painted on the wood and sanded away. All of the images were taken with 50mm 1.4 at f/9 ISO100 A 1/500
Thanks in advance for your input!

Hi everyone! Sorry it took so long and thanks to everyone for all the great advice. Here is the final product... 48x36"

Another photographer here, does them. K&B Photography.
If I had to guess I would say it was like an MDF particle board with plywood on top, because though it is thick, it is pretty light. & I use PS CS5 to edit.
Thanks so much for your comments! :-)

I like #1 and #2. I would think the boats name is important to your project so #1 for sure. Please be sure to post a picture of your final creation. I love unique projects and yours certainly has my interest.

Just Brilliant. I would love to do one like that showing my boat. How did you get that size of print in order to transfer it to the board?
