Loved the set. Only wish I could do stained glass like you do.

Thank you very much Jim, doing stained glass windows is really not that difficult, just make sure you don't overexpose and correct the often slanted perspective in post. I just posted the second and final set of windows from this church a few minutes ago.

Very nice work. Aren't some of those yellow panels later replacements for panes hit by mortars and such during WWI and II?

Thank you very much rmm, I am not aware of any damage in WWI, and as to WWII, the references I found were very confusing, one saying that there was much damage, one saying that there was very little damage and most of them not mentioning damage - and no reference at all to the damage to windows, so I have to assume there was no major damage.

Beautiful stained glass windows and quite intricate, especially the one in #9. Also they appear to be very tall windows. Thanks for your travels and photos.

We view a few of the many decorative plaques in St Elizabeth's church and then bring our attention to the nave and main altar, concentrating on the multi-colored stained glass windows in its distinctly and rather unusual yellow hues.

Very nice job on the interior, Joe...This Church belongs more to Wroclaw than it does to Breslau...

Great series, Joe. In your 1st picture of Jesus and Mary, Jesus was suppose to be 6ft tall, but Mary looks to be 8ft tall, her proportions have always bothered me.

Very nice series Joe! The "carved plaques" are quite difficult to photograph in many instances due to the light - or lack of it! Well done.

Thank you Ellen, yes the windows are quite intricate and very tall, you can best appreciate that by looking at frame #4.

Thank you Eugene; interesting observation, may I assume you are basing your comment on the images of the Uhlan light cavalry of the Polish forces in the stained glass windows?

Thanks Earnest, interesting comment, I did not realize this but you are correct, Mary's size seems to be exagerated compared to Jesus or the surrounding individuals.

Another beautiful set, Joe! I am surprised that there is such conflicting documentation, or should I say lack of documentation on the actual damage. The pre WWII church, as well as the aftermath, must still be within the living memory of a number of Polish or German citizens.
