Very nice series Joe! The "carved plaques" are quite difficult to photograph in many instances due to the light - or lack of it! Well done.
Thank you maciej for your kind comment. It is a hit and miss with these carved plaques, particularly since I am not using a tripod, which often is not allowed in churches and anyway does not make sense as it hinders the flow of people. I am quite happy with image #2, it comes out well even in DDL, but less so with #1, but I nevertheless decided to included it because I liked the composition.

Thank you Eugene; interesting observation, may I assume you are basing your comment on the images of the Uhlan light cavalry of the Polish forces in the stained glass windows?
...And Karol Józef Wojtyla as well.

Great set Joe!
Thank you Mark, glad you enjoyed the set.
Wonderful interior images, Joe. Places like this can't be built today. We want a project done in months, not years or decades and couldn't afford it anyway.

Thank you John, yes, the times, they are a-changing! What took forever to build, lasted forever, unless wars or fires destroyed the work, now time is money and that almost all that counts. Can you imagine building a church for hundreds of years - but we do have a modern day example of lengthy construction: Gaudi's "Sagrada Familia" basilica in Barcelona was started in 1882 and it was anticipated to be completed by 2026, the centenary of Gaudi's death, but now it has been further delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
