This section is for novices, amateurs, advanced hobbyists and pros.

Your question(s) can be on any kind of photography. You must provide the following information:
- Your experience level (novice to pro) - This will help us understand where you are 'coming from' and allow us to answer you better, at your level of expertise.
That is basically it as far as generic information goes.

- When you ask a question it must be specific and concern a single issue. This allows us to give you a precise answer. If we believe your query has wider implications we may provide an expanded answer that addresses related issues beyond your specific question (or you can probe us onto expanding the answer).
- We must learn what your intent is. Giving us this information is important to you. If you do not give this information we may not be able to give you the full answer you seek.
- If you post an image you must include an attached original file significantly larger than UHH thumbnail. UHH size limit is about 20MB.
- If you fail to provide the requested information a moderator will ask you to get these details. Once everything is given a mentor will take over and the moderator post(s) will be deleted.
It is important to us that you ask further questions if our answer is too narrow or hard to understand (technical jargon and the like).
As we go along we will create a small indexed reference of terms and acronyms and technical terms used within the threads.

Please note that by default only mentors and moderators are allowed to reply to a thread.
Due to UHH Thread control setup expect a delay before you can post in your own thread.
The change in your thread access is manual so a moderator needs to fix this first. This is out of our control, sorry.
When your thread has been changed you will see a mention: 'Thread is unlocked' from the moderator. Once the dialogue starts this update post will be deleted.
