Posting a thread
All UHH members can create a thread in this section.
Every thread in this area is subject to review by the moderators running this section.

Threads that do not conform will be
a) Transferred out (Notification in PM)
b) Simply deleted (Notification in PM)

Folks who create a pattern of disturbance will simply be disallowed from creating a topic (Silent)

Posting a reply:
- Only Pre-selected UHH members can reply to any and all topics. Mentor list
- More than one mentor can answer a thread.
- Op will be allowed to reply as soon as a moderator notices or is notified of the new thread created.
Be patient, we are only two moderators at the moment and we have our lives to live.

This initial policy is subject to be appended, modified as needed.

If there is an issue, please do not hesitate to contact a moderator or a mentor if the issue is with the moderator.

Please note that by default only mentors and moderators are allowed to reply to a thread.

Due to UHH Thread control setup expect a delay before you can post in your own thread.
The change in your thread access is manual so a moderator needs to fix this first. This is out of our control, sorry.
When your thread has been changed you will see a mention: 'Thread is unlocked' from the moderator. Once the dialogue starts this update post will be deleted.

Thread requirement

Moderation details:
- Threads will not be locked unless YOU request it.
- Anyone who becomes argumentative will be locked out of his/her own thread. There is a likely-hood that the thread will be transferred to another section or simply deleted. Try to be as professional as the mentors will be. Mentors have a thick skin but the moderator can be... Less than tolerant if it becomes personal.
- Threads that do not respect the above basic requirements will be transferred out.
- If you want your thread deleted, just ask the moderator. We may ask why so that we can improve if we made a mistake but we will abide to your request.
- If for some reason you want your thread to be transfered, ask the Admin to do so in a PM.
- All transfers to another section will be made by the admin.

- Generic questions or statements. Use the Main photographic channel.
- Rhetorical question or statement. Use the Main photographic channel.
- Request to identify anything. Use the Main photographic channel.
- Purchasing advice unless for a specific purpose. Note that the various UHH private sections maybe of more help.
- Critique or Appreciation request. Use For your consideration section for that.
- Threads made to comment on the section itself or this section activity (positive or negative). Place those where-ever, just not here.
