This is a new resource for all UHH members. You can access concise, straightforward, informative and practical advice, on a wide variety of photographic fields in the technical as well as the aesthetic areas of our craft. A selected panel of professional photographers and experienced advanced workers are at your disposal.

The uniqueness of this section is its structure. Questions are encouraged, invited and accepted, but they need to be SPECIFIC AND NOT GENERIC. There will be NO lengthy ongoing discussion threads. Questions and requests for advice will be posted, addressed with care and respect, and will be comprehensively answered to the best of the panel's collective, or any of the individual panel members', knowledge and opinions.

Your question can be on any kind or style of photography, but must be specific to a definite scenario, premise, technique, technical or artistic issue, equipment application or usage, or a particular project or type of shot you are working on or planning. Tell us what your goal is in perfecting the image or completing the project. Our panel members will be pleased to advise, troubleshoot, and come up with practical “nuts and bolts” solutions, opinions, suggestions and remedies. An easy format will be provided for your inquiry so that the panel will have all the information they need in order to quickly provide you with their best answers.

This section is for newcomers, novices, amateurs, advanced hobbyists and old pros as well. The panel members are not only selected for their knowledge base but for their willingness to share and reach out and help folks in a kind and accepting manner. Do not be afraid to challenge us with some heavy duty questions.

We want to operate this section in a business-like manner.

Please note that by default only mentors and moderators are allowed to reply to a thread.

Due to UHH Thread control setup expect a delay before you can post in your own thread.
The change in your thread access is manual so a moderator needs to fix this first. This is out of our control, sorry.
When your thread has been changed you will see a mention: 'Thread is unlocked' from the moderator. Once the dialogue starts this update post will be deleted.
