I am just wondering if you really are so gullible that you actually think that the photos in this post are real. This is another oversimplification of a complex issue meant to appeal to people who can't understand the complexity of the issue. My mom is 92 and in a nursing home receiving Medicaid because she can't afford the $10,500 per month fees. Would you just throw her out onto the street? Happy Thanksgiving!

Probably when she bred a greedy, self center leftist she should be thrown out. We all know how selfish you Bama Brown Shirts are. $10,500 per month, it must be the Taj Mahal.

Twat you have really reached the bottom of ignorance of stupidity or ignorance or both believing that asinine statement. Look at what is marching in the
street for freebies, look what the socialist professors are teaching to these your people with heads full of mush. Are you so isolated from reality that you
don't know whats going on to the young people?

Whether or not these photos are real. surveys of malenials have found that a significant numbers of them (over 50%) favor socialist or even communist forms of government. This ,actually. is quite understandable, The overwhelming number of their teachers or professors espouse very liberal (socialist) philosophies. Conservative thought and speakers are shunned on university campuses. All the students hear is the evils of "unfair" capitalism.Higher education today is a lot closer to indoctrination than education.

Average semi-private room in a nursing home in 2016 was $89,300 per year. Our area and mom's requirements account for added expenses. I always worked hard and still do, but I can't afford that kind of money. Thank God we live in a capitalist country with a social safety net!

That sounds fairly reasonable, especially for semi-private. We're paying more than that for a memory care unit and when nursing requirements are needed it means a different facility and higher costs. Family paying so far....

Strange. They did it before there was nursing homes. Suck it up, Buttercup!

Your many comments make you sound like such a miserable and hateful person. I suggest that you move to socialist Denmark which always scores very highly in the world happiness surveys as do many socialist countries. Such a move might improve your sour attitude!

Listen ignorant one, Socialism is a method of government in which the national government owns or controls the means of production—the factories and mills.

No one suggests that the US government own or control industry.

Your definition of Socialism is incorrect, wrong, misguided, uninformed, random, wandering, and incorrect.

When you use words you don’t understand, you say things that are incorrect and which don’t reflect what you say and what you think.

Socialism means the government controls or owns the means of production, that is the factories and mills, and no one—absolutely no one advocated that in this country.

If. You clarify your words, you also clarify your thinking and your meaning and your understanding.

Look up Socialism in Wkipedia, and prove me wrong.

Perhaps so, but you have no idea what they were talking about, what socialism is.

And because of that, you thinking and expression and logic and opinion are all wrong, entirely wrong, uninformed, misinformed, misleading, still wrong, and in error, and your head is in the sand because of it.

No one respects what you say because they all know you have no idea what you are talking about.

While you are correct in your description of socialism as government ownership of the means of production you ignor the following. Since the beginning of the progressive movement in the early 1900's the US has moved ever so much closer to the socialist "ideal". Th federalgovertnment hs a great deal more power over our lives than it did in the early 1900.s Things like the federal income tax and the progressive aplication of it is "socialist" in that it should not be up to the government to pich winners and losers-everyone should pay the same percentage. Welfare-food stamps-Medicaid are "socialist". The concept of social justice as opposed to equal justice is also a socialist concept. Although the federal government does not own the businesses of America, it has almost regulated them out of business, Trump has rightly ended many of them. If the recent, gradual trend to more and more socialize the country our grndchildren will grow up in a vEry different cpountry that we grew up in.

While you are correct in your description of socia... (show quote)

First you admit to a definition of socialism, then you ascribe all sorts of activity which have nothing to do with socialism as being socialism.

Things that exist without reference to the government ownership of means of production aren’t socialism or socialistic.

Gone are the days when a man with an ox and an axe can farm free land and live alone.

As an automobile is more complex that a mule, modern society is more complex that the 17th century, and complexity requires organization and regulation.

“Things like the federal income tax and the progressive aplication of it is "socialist" in that it should not be up to the government to pick winners and losers-everyone should pay the same percentage.” This has nothing to do with socialism and you have admitted as much. And this is fundamentally wrong.

“Welfare-food stamps-Medicaid are "socialist".” Not so. They have nothing to do with government ownership.

There is no such thing a “social justice,” just Justice as provided by the bill of rights and the constitution, and enacted laws of the nation.

“Although the federal government does not own the businesses of America, it has almost regulated them out of business.” Not so. GM is doing fine. Ford, too. Do you have any idea what the gross national product is and how much money is involved?

Trump has done nothing but blow his mouth. He knows nothing, and he has done nothing. And all of this has nothing to do with socialism.

Your thought is very foggy and vague. Study, read and learn. There is much to know and we don’t have much time.
