Do any of you people use a Wacom, or a Huion tablet for retouching a portrait, or anything else? I'm thinking of buying one. If you use one what do you think of it??
Kenny
Just had a quick look via the UHH Search fuction, optimized for Advanced Options and "show recent topics" for the word "Wacom" and came up with four threads for you to read. The moral is "use your resources".

Have a Wacom Intuos medium. Had a Huion and sold it. The Wacom is much easier to use and much more versatile.
I'm very fond of the Wacom I have.

I've used a Wacom for several years and would not do any post processing w/o one now.
I have a Wacom, very useful.
I have a medium wacom and love it. it will take some getting used to as it isn't the same as tracing around an object on a piece of paper like when you're taking a dog out of one file and putting it into another. For regular retouching it's more precise and easier to use than a mouse and a lot less stressful on your hand. If you spend more than a few hours after a shoot doing retouching (for any reason), a tablet is a must.
Wouldn't leave home without one (Wacom x 2)
I've been using a Wacom for years. I finally just upgraded from my old Wacom to the new Wacom Intuos Pro (Medium) and I am loving it! Couldn't imagine doing any post-processing without it! And it doubles as a giant mousepad.

Have used Wacom tablets for 15 years! Get one you will LOVE it. Makes any sort of art work and retouching SOOOOO much easier!
I've started a couple of Wacom threads recently. I was told to expect an adjustment period, and that was good advice. I'm not totally used to it yet, but I can already tell that it will be much better than a mouse or plain trackpad for editing. One piece of advice I got was to buy the small size, and it turned out to be excellent advice, IMHO. Good luck!
I was given one a couple of weeks ago. It seems awkward at this point, but I see that will pass.
Medium Wacom for me! Could limp by if I lost one camera or lens using backups but would rush to the store to replace my Wacom! Can't imagine post processing without it.
