So based in large part on good advice from UHH, I bought a small Intuos Photo tablet. I've read lots of articles and watched YouTube videos, but I like hearing from the UHH community. I've got four buttons on the tablet and two on the pen (no eraser on this pen, and no wheel on the tablet). How would you set it up?
So far, I'm thinking to set the pen buttons for Pick and Reject, but there are other good choices. For the tablet, I want one for Undo and one for backslash, but that leaves two more. May be one will be to make a Virtual Copy. Anyway, I'm curious to read your thoughts.
Thanks!

Just curious, which model of Intuos did you purchase?

The Intuos Photo in small. I learned that all Intuos tablets are almost identical except for the bundled software. I think there is one model without multitouch, but the Photo has it.

I have my pen as right click, undo, and erase (which may be factory). You can customize the 4 buttons for each program you use (ie. Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, etc.). You can also program one of the 4 buttons to pull up a radial menu and then one or more tabs on the radial menu to pull up a submenu. This gives you all sorts of commands at your disposal. I have the medium which has 8 buttons and the wheel (the most used button of all) and I still could use more. My advice is pay attention to what functions you use most and then set those to the pen and tablet. I changed mine around many times during the first 6 months till I got it how I want. One mistake I made is putting things on the tablet that are pretty easy to do in Photoshop or Lightroom already. Once you get it right, store those settings on your computer (using the Wacom software) in case you lose them somehow (they just disappeared on me one day and with a few clicks, I had them back). Have fun!!!

Great advice --- just what I would have said. I have the medium Intuos and have it setup for general all round use and for Lightroom,Photoshop, and On1 photo editing.

Thanks. I figured I would be making changes over time until I arrived at the best choices for me.
