If you download #1, you'll see a good representation of my new-to-me (gently used) mirrorless camera: Panasonic Lumix DMC-G7 with 14-140 mm lens. I'm enjoying it a lot so far!
#2 was in heavy fog + has a texture added. #3 was just plain foggy
All shot in raw and edited in PS Elements and Nik Color Efex.
Constructive feedback and tips regarding the camera would be welcomed.
Thanks for viewing!
Your work is, as always, beautiful! I get so stuck on gear, software and geeky stuff, I never seem to gather up the composition skills like you routinely show on UHH.
Congrats on the new camera. I have the same 14-140 lens and have/had related cameras, the GX7, GX8 and LX100. Based on reading and seeing what you post, you will soon be answering my questions! Until then, please ask if there is anything I can do to help.
FWIW, my wife and I get to Yakima a couple times of year to see friends from when I lived there. In fact, I'm having lunch with four of them in Seattle today! If we worked it out on one of our Yakima trips, you would be welcome to try my Lumix 100-400.

Great Pictures Linda. I need to get back up into the canyon.
I've been eyeing the Sony a7R II. My heavy Nikon gear (although I love it) is getting hard to transport - looking for a full frame mirrorless solution and the Sony is the only one I have seen so far.
You have a great eye for composition - always enjoy your posts!

Linda,
Enjoy your new to you Panasonic Lumix DMC-G7 . It is in capable hands looking at the 3 images. Image 1 and 3 are my favorites.
Save your penny's and you can get a new lens. I would ask why unless you want a more telephoto lens.
Have fun with what you got.
Stan
Thank you, Bill. I'm very grateful for your lovely comments and your offer.Talk soon!

Thanks so much for your comments, BigDog. Did you know there are 25 - 30 eagles in the canyon right now? Most of them juveniles!

Thanks so much, Stan. I probably won't be rushing for a telephoto, and may very well decide I'm good with what I have, especially since I still have a T3i body with 10-18 mm & 40 mm pancake, plus the sx50
Wholly Cow these are beautiful scenes, I'd be looking for a photo contest to enter (especially #1). That Lumix is a worthy camera. Not only did you join the (quiet) mirrorless family, but the suburb 4/3 sensor family. You'll love that super high resolution electronic viewfinder too. It will help you tremendously with seeing just how your settings affect the outcome of image. What you see is what you get, and I for one, love knowing how my exposure looks before I trip the shutter. Congratulations on a great buy. I'm impressed. Now for a side story. A member of the Nashville Photography Club shoots with a Lumix DSLR, not sure the model. She recently did a photo presentation of a trip to India with her Lumix for the club. She blew us all away...Lumix is that good.

Thank you for your terrific comments, James, and for your information.
There are soooo many different menu items, wheels and buttons from my T3i that I'm still trying to figure them out

Super set Linda, especially like #1, beautiful contrasting colour and great composition. Enjoyed them all very much. Enjoy your new camera.
A beautiful set. #1 makes me think of the song 'On a clear day you can see forever...' my favorite is #2 .

Thank you, Sylvia! I'm very pleased you enjoyed. I definitely like the compact size, weight and clarity.

Thank you, Sirius! I'm delighted you found interest in my juvie bald eagle that I spruced up with a texture overlay. For #1 I had clear air and beautiful late afternoon light, yummy
Linda, I can't tell you anything about the camera except that in the right hands it obviously takes great pictures. I love the crisp feel of 1 and also the composition. The texture really made the second pleasing as well. At first I wasn't crazy about 3 - maybe because the fog hides so much of the foreground. However, after looking at the download I decided it is pretty cool. There is a lot more detail than I realized at first glance.
