If you download #1, you'll see a good representation of my new-to-me (gently used) mirrorless camera: Panasonic Lumix DMC-G7 with 14-140 mm lens. I'm enjoying it a lot so far!

#2 was in heavy fog + has a texture added. #3 was just plain foggy All shot in raw and edited in PS Elements and Nik Color Efex.

Constructive feedback and tips regarding the camera would be welcomed.

Thanks for viewing!

Excellent pictures. That camera is highly capable. A friend of mine has one, and he also has a Leica. Results look damned close to me. Again though, you made the great photos, not really the camera.

Thanks for your comments! Glad you enjoyed the photos. Re the camera, I like the compact feel, similar to my bridge camera, and I like the dream of buying one of the more expensive lenses that fit it - lol.

Thanks for your visit, Bruce! MinnieV has an Olympus; she said I can go even wider on aperture on landscapes as these have excellent depth of field.

Cool, I might be stalking you to check on more posts. I'm toying with the thoughts of a new camera.

There have been several main forum topics + I think there are quite a few users on the site. You know, before I joined UHH I was supremely happy with one consumer dslr, a kit lens, one battery and on CF card. My G.A.S. budget has been blown many times over since then

Thanks for viewing, Bob. #2 is a juvenile bald eagle. There are 25 - 30 eagles in the canyon right now!

Very good images Linda. I especially like the first one, nice colors and very sharp.
I'm glad you really like your new mirrorless camera. I have 3, Sony, Olympus and Pentax and enjoy them all along with my DSLRs.
At one time I had a Panasonic G5, but sold it to get the Olympus OMD-E-M10. I'm sure the G7 will do great in your capable hands.

will

Thank you! #1 exif indicates 17 mm, and has a slight crop off the bottom. I set the aspect ratio for 3:2 even though the camera can do 4:3. I am used to 3:2 with my dslr and really like for landscapes.

With this mirrorless system (MFT or micro four thirds), 17 mm would be equivalent angle of view as 34 mm in full frame camera terms.
