Occupaion: retired but doing photography Interests: photography, geology/paleontology, writing, choral singing, being outdoors Biography: I grew up in Maine, went away to school, graduated from the University of Wisconsin (Madison), moved to Washington, D.C. I worked as an editorial assistant and writer on a science magazine, got married and moved to the Philippines while husband was in Vietnam, returned to the U.S. via Alaska after a year, worked again as a writer. We divorced and I returned to Maine, worked in politics, taught graphic arts at vocational school (travelled a lot in Middle America during the summers) and edited small publications. I moved to an island accessible only by ferry but close to Portland and fell in love with geology, cats and photography. I returned to the mainland after 23 years on the island where I ran a small inn and now live a mile away from my original backyard. My sisters also returned to Maine as did many of my old school chums! Full circle. Website: not set
