I am most definitely an ametuer and have limited skills.I can get all dressed up but have no place to go. LOL I have superior equipment but, don't know how to use most of it. I suspect sometime in the near future I will sell off more than half of my equipment. If you live in Illinois let me know you may be able to acquire some excellent hardware at bargain prices. I shoot with both D60 & D810. When I go out I try to carry 3 lenses.

Every once in a while I will grab Nikkor 14-24mm 1:2.8G ED It's my favorite wide angle that can handle both close up and distance. I use an assortment of software depending on the image I am looking for. I prefer candid shots the most, followed by landscape. I do well with portraits and have a mini studio I can take along. But, I am not a huge fan of them, too much work and prep time. Now if someone offers me a health paycheck and a helper I might consider it.I have umbrellas, multiple flash, 5 backdrops and stand, 100wh Hyperjuice power supply, and a portable Selphy printer. I can load my van up in minutes and ready to setup anywhere. Specific shoots my require more or less gear but with all that my mac pro and camranger I pretty much good to go. Expensive hobby just wish I had a friend who enjoys photography as I do. So, I am pretty much on my own and work my understanding of everything in ways that may be awkward to others but it works.
