I have formal training in photojournalism and portrait and commercial photography. I was the first student journalist to cover a Space Shuttle launch; I have photographed over 1,000 weddings, over 100 politicians at all levels of government, including two US Presidents. I was the first civilian photojournalist to cover a NATO exercise with the US Air Force. I am now retired from professional photography, but I teach the photography merit badge for Boy Scouts.
