My Friend Nicole Finen who is a park ranger at Saint Andrews State park in Panama City Beach made this amazing capture of a Hammerhead Shark caught an being carried away by an Osprey. Shot near the boat launch yesterday bayside. Not my picture but it definitely deserves sharing

I don’t know the type of owl he is. If you look close you can see a spot of blood an a small break in his beak.
I can only hope he was ok. The fact he could see well enough to navigate his way out of tbe barn through a side door that was open gives hope his sight was ok, I can only wonder an hope.

Coming home from dinner we drove past this owl sitting at a rail road crossing in the middle of the road cars passing by within inches of the bird.
We pulled over an my son took off his shirt threw it over the owl. He never tried to claw or bite or struggle against us. we took him to our house just up the road from where we found him.
We Checked him out finding nothing that was obviously hurting an let him just sit an chill for about 20 minutes. he sat perfectly still other than tracking our moving around him with a slow turn of his head
When he flew across the room kind of slow an lazy we picked him up took him outside into the main barn sat him down an he promptly flew out The barn door an away into the night.
