Rhino, I have read many of your comments on various photos. I think that you have a lot of really good things to say, but it disturbs me when you tell others that their work is not good enough or not worth it. I think most of us are here to learn...

Squirl, i like your cotton candy effect you bring from shotting slow on the stream. It works becsuse all the colors and the wet scene balance just right. Everything else on this thread from everyone is not good enough to pp or print imo.

It's ok we do learn from the comments, both negative and positive, and we learn There are different strokes for different folks. After a while we learn something about the commentators too. One person's opinion is not the end of the world, nor is it always right.

I like hot air ballons as subject matter, but I feel like this shot has no focal point. Maybe crop it in towards that balloon in the center? It also may benefit from being converted to black and white to lessen the busy-ness of colors from nearby balloons. :)

Great pic! I love perspective shots and using lines in unexpected ways. This photo definitely uses its lines to draw in the viewer and make them want to fall over!

I would advise you to be aware of your lines. The second picture looks drastically better in black and white, but it is not quite level. It needs to be rotated slightly counterclockwise. I like to use visual cues within my photograph to level the entire image (horizon lines, doorways, etc.) The first photo is a good subject, but for a perspective shot, it might look more interesting if you were closer to the train looking down its path. That looks like a fun venue to photograph!
