Ever hear of the Boeing MCAS system to enhance flight stability?

The Maneuvering Characteristics Augmentation System (MCAS) is a flight stabilizing feature developed by Boeing that became notorious for its role in two fatal accidents of the 737 MAX, which killed all 346 passengers and crew among both flights.

Sometimes with software you don't always get what you think you are supposed to.

Hopefully it will and those knowledgeable will be able to respond!

Just curious if you tried to uncheck the "Center Image" box? Looks like the image is shifted kind of down and to the left as well as truncating the right side.
I don't know the printer, just the only thing I see in the settings that I would try first.

if a "little bit" of white surround happens to show it will attract the eye and greatly reduce what you are trying to do - go borderless

Thank you.

I Googled "TAP Commencement Trifold Folio 4x6-8HV" and the following image appeared among the listings. If this is the album you are interested in, I noticed the area around the picture area is non-standard.

I would suggest you make the prints borderless and not worry about how much of the image is cropped!

Be well! Happy New Year all! Ed

Thank you for your observation and advice. Have a Happy New Year!

I want to print some Senior pictures and put them in a TAP Commencement Trifold Folio 4x6-8HV. I was wondering how much viewable area is going to show from the 4x6. I will put a border, but don't know how much to allow for the actual photo sleeve to not crop part of the image. Any expertise or suggestions? I have contacted Adorama and others who sell these, and cannot get an answer. Doesn't appear to be part of the published specifications. It will be two more weeks before I can start if I have to wait to measure myself. Thanks for any help provided.
Hope 2023 is a great year for all.

Gvarner, Focus stacking is essential when performing high-magnification sessions for there is a direct relationship between Depth of Field, aperture, and magnification. For example, when doing a session at 10X magnification, the field depth is limited to just a tip of a hair. I've attached the "start" image taken in a stack of images of a brown recluse spider and the final processed image of the stack of hundreds of images required to produce it.

Focus stacking need not bring the entire frame into razor-sharp focus for the session need only go as deep as the composer desires.

Don't know what it is, but is it a part that could be 3D printed by some Tinkerbot group or something?

I have Amazon Prime and Amazon Photos has unlimited photo storage that you can create an album and share the photos with your siblings with an e-mail link sent to them. Then they can download whatever photo they want at full resolution. It's a Prime perk.

For the mac, I have used the free version of Canva to produce a .pdf photobook, loading each of my images into one of their templates ( 1,2,3,4 or 5 images per page).

For Windows, I have used ams-collage.com pro version ~$50, and it will make a photobook from your photos with just a minimal effort. Go to the website and view the tutorials. You can then save the whole book as a .pdf and distribute that way as a digital photobook, or you can download each page as a .jpg and then use a photobook printer like Shutterfly and upload the pages as a .jpg. I wait until Shutterfly has an unlimited pages photobook offer to have them print the book. My experience is that the photobook is limited to 110 pages. You can make the photobook on Shutterfly and keep it there until they have their offer, then have it printed at a substantial savings.

Aside from the many good suggestions in this thread, I would add a note of caution. When you add a lift to only one shoe, you're changing the balance of stress placed on the hips which isn't a good thing. Since horizons can be easily corrected in post, that would be a different way to fix the problem.

I once dated a girl with a lift in her left shoe. Her name was . . . Eileen :)

That is very interesting. Curious as to if those are documented and known structures that you are finding and photographing or are they new archaeological finds that you photograph, document the coordinates and then contact some group or organization for further study. If they are previously known, do you have to obtain special permission to hike up and visit? Thanks for sharing the photos.
