I am considering purchasing either the Fujifilm S10 or Panasonic G9 for a variety of functions that they share.

I use the Raw image format. My work flow for Raw images from my Canon cameras is to first open them in Adobe Camera Raw (ACR), where for all of my Canon lenses I can apply Adobe's lens profiles. These profiles include corrections for distortion, especially important to correct for curved horizons with wide angle lenses. My research indicates that Adobe does not support Fujifilm or Panasonic lenses with lens profiles in ACR.

What's the best workaround to apply lens profiles for RAW images made with Fujifilm or Panasonic lenses? Thanks.

My Photoshop CC recently upgraded Adobe Camera Raw to version 13.
The interface for cropping is entirely different, and I cannot figure out how to crop.
Please help with how to crop an image in ACR 13. Thanks

My problem with the Photoshop CC update several days ago is in the use of the adjustment brush in Adobe Camera Raw. It works OK as it always have. But, I cannot figure out how to deactivate the brush and return to general edits for the entire image. Please help.

Here is what I do for a comfortable carry with one hand wrapped around the center column. I mount my camera on the tripod, and carry the rig with my arm straight down along my side. You will need to extend the center column to distribute the weight so as to balance the length of the rig parallel to the ground. Periodically you can alternate to your other arm. Note that not all camera/tripod/lens combinations can be balanced to use this approach. Some do and some don't.

I'm hoping somebody can help me by supplying the name & source for what I believe is a recently announced close-up/macro lighting item that is shaped like a globe. It has a rotating pedestal base inside. The lighting provides a shadowless white background. As I recall it cost ~$350. I saw an advertisement for it, but failed to save info about it. Thanks in advance.

I want to be carry less gear and be more spontaneous by using tripods less. What (Manufacturer and Model) mirrorless camera body & lens combinations provide the largest number of stops image stabilization? Olympus, Fugi, Pansonic? Some manufacturers claim as mush as a 7.5 stop benefit! Thanks in advance.

I read reviews of 2 TB LaCie DJI Copilot Boss 2TB and Western Digital Pro 2TB drives with SD card slots. The cost on Amazon of these two economical alternatives is not prohibitive ($250 for LaCie or $150 for WD), but my call is that the interface, capabilities, and reliability is not quite there yet.

I (hope) to be traveling to eastern Europe in May. I will either: (1) Continue to take enough SD cards for the entire trip and not backup the cards (I have never had a card failure), or (2) Buy a Microsoft 10" Surface laptop (with the Windows 10 operating system) for backup.

My wife and I went with a group on a vacation last year in May to western Ireland. It was awesome!
