Your captures are so fascinating - I really appreciate your creative eye! #2 is my favorite.

Have to ask... What impact did it have on the sound?
The sound is now out of this world!
Very pretty images of the hawk as well as the second and third images with the small birds. You captured some great poses!
Congratulations on breaking the inertia! I'm not being sarcastic - I know how hard it can be to step out of the rut and try something unfamiliar. I hope you enjoy and take advantage of your newfound access. Thanks for sharing this photo...and hope to see more!
oooh...#3 is incredible...I'd love to have it on my wall. #4...he's 110% done with you.
I like the pose in #2 - the elongated shape and turn of her head strike a humorous chord for me. #7 is the prettiest, in my opinion.
Great capture of that facial expression. Shadow says "look, do I come and bother you in your happy place? A little privacy, please!"
really lovely images. The first three birds in branches are my favorite, with the iron ring captures a close second.
Terrific visual example of a principle that may be difficult to grasp conceptually. And gorgeous colors!
Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful colors and reflections! The detail and luminescence you captured in the last image is just gorgeous!
Beautiful...and imposing! My grandparents lived in Alaska for a year - my grandmother did free-hand cross-stitch and other yarnwork pieces of the views from their roving RV travels around the state. Looking at your beautiful captures reminds me to appreciate the works of hers that I have at home.

Winchester House is in Santa Cruz- not San Jose
I appreciate your interest in fact checking my post. I verified to be sure I was providing the OP with accurate information.
If you plan to visit Alcatraz as a destination, make sure you understand the logistics of buying tickets for the approved ferry. Alcatraz is part of the National Parks and is free to visit...but there's only one ferry service contracted to actually bring you to the island to disembark. Tickets can be purchased in advance and any given service time may sell out. Other companies will advertise service, but they can only circle the island and bring you back to the mainland. (At least this is how it all worked when I visited a handful of years ago.)
If you're a baseball fan, you can check if tours of Giants stadium are available during your visit. Also, the Disney Family Museum is located inside the Presidio. It was created by the Disney family, not the corporation, so there's lots of interesting insights and family mementos.
San Jose is a bit outside SF, but I rented a car for a day trip, since I've always wanted to see the Winchester Mansion. The tour was quite extensive, both inside the house and outside around the grounds. During my visit, photography was not allowed inside the mansion due to a contract for an upcoming film. The movie's since been released, so I'm not sure how that stands now. Photography was allowed outside the building.
wow - that's a beautiful white-on-white study. Lots for the viewer to take in and get lost in imagining...
lovely colors and composition - #2 is my favorite. The sharpness of the bird against the silkiness of the water is attention-grabbing.
