Yes, no reservations. The D850 is possibly the best general purpose Full frame DSLR on planet earth today.

Someone on U-Tube mentioned that KEH was recently purchased by a bigger company and that they are no longer as good as they were. I cannot speak to the accuracy of this claim, but maybe you want to take it into account. For details, see the Angry Photographer on U-Tube.

There are times when either B&W or Color will be "better" than the other. However, your examples show the opposite: B&W and Color are both excellent in their own rights. I would print these pics and display them side by side...

By all means, get the D850 which is maybe the best general-purpose camera currently available on planet Earth, and my own favorite.

I would keep the D500 for action shooting, as it excels at fast shooting -- it's fast and has a virtually bottomless buffer.

Also, the DX crop factor can be an advantage when shooting [wildlife] with a telephoto lens...

The D500 has a faster frame rate than the D7500. If you shoot sports -- or anything where you might want to shoot on Continuous High and hold down the shutter -- the D500 is a sure bet. I have a D7100, D500 and D850. The D500 is easily the FASTEST of the lot, and you cannot fill the buffer. Of course, the D850 is by far my favorite overall camera; but for action, the D500 is the winner.

Personally, I never buy camera stuff on Amazon. You never know if you'll get grey market, used junk, etc.

With B&H you know who u r delaing with, they know the camera biz inside and out, and they honor their commitments.

I have a Pro-100 and I use Red River and Canon papers. I printed a lot of sample kits from a lot of paper-makers, and I came out with Canon and RR as my papers of choice. Red River has (IMHO) better color rendition than Canon. In other words it looks better to my eye.
The best way for YOU to see if you like RR paper is to order a sample pack. I suspect your printer uses dye inks (mine does, too), so I would stick with "shiny" papers and shy away from matte. You can use Luster (which I personally hate), but I prefer semi-gloss equivalents myself. My fav RR is Ultra Gloss 2. My fav Canon is Semi-Gloss. Which should tell you where my preferences lie.
Good luck.

I assume you are using Windows because Mac comes with a good backup program called Time Machine. My advice: (1) dump Windows and switch to Mac, (2) use Time Machine with a dedicated backup drive that is 2X the size of all HD's being backed up, (3) get all Thunderbolt 3 drives (with Apple cables only). Macs cost more because they are worth more. The single program, Time Machine, offers enough extra value (to me) so that I don't mind paying a premium for Mac. And don't get me started on the 27" 5K screen. Back when I used Windows I recall spending $400 on a backup program, and I never got it to work the way I wanted after weeks of trying. I spend less than 1 minute setting up Time Machine fater having used the Mac Mini for about 2 days. The rest of the Mac experience is similar.
Sorry for "somewhat" changing the subject, but someone somewhere may read this and see the light and stop wasting 100's of precious, irreplaceable hours configuring Windows, and thousands of dollars for "extra" software (such as a good backup program) that should just "come with".

I have the Tamron 70-200 and the 15-30 and both are great lenses. Last week i got the Tamron 90mm macro and it is STELLAR. I have lots of Nikon glass too. And Sigma. Tamron has always been good on Nikon F mount. I started using them on my Nikon F2 in the 70s.... It’s ur $$$ and ur choice what to get.

I am no expert, but.... From my reading and watching You-Tube, I think that there are no dye printers (Pro-100) capable of really good B&W. If you want really good, you need to get a pigment printer (Pro-10 or Pro-1000). Pigment printers tend to have head clogging problems, and the printers go into cleaning cycles to help prevent clogging.

Dye ink is good with glossy type papers, and "not so good" with matte type papers.

My choice (I am still saving $$$) will be the Pro-100. I will teach myself the ins and outs of printing with this less expensive printer, and then, if necessary, upgrade to a Pro-1000 -- when I am ready for head clogging and super-duper-excellent print quality, color or B&W, on any paper.

Maybe recalibrate your monitor. Spyder doc says you need to recalibrate every few months.
