I am in need of multipurpose inkjet printer that will produce decent to good quality photo prints. I have a cannon pro 1000 for fine prints. Price range $250 or less. Thank you.

There is an Epson Eco Tank within that range. Best of luck.
Thank you for your recommendation. Do you have any experience with these products. In my research a couple of the reviews stated that the color print quality was subpar and did not recommend purchasing.

I own two of them and would not consider the color print quality anything above basic. For photo prints, there is no better way than a dedicated photo printer. I've never seen, or heard, of any printer that could do both well. The Eco Tank printer is directed at 'business' printing where something color could be used for illustrative purposes or a color sign is being printed. They are definitely NOT high end. For the price, and for the low cost of replacement ink, they are priceless. I use one of these, a small HP Laser printer and an Epson P800 for photo prints. This fits in the price range you stated, but you do get what you pay for. Best of luck.
Thank you. Your comments are very helpful.
