I wanted to start a topic on the heels of today's topic concerning adapting old manual focus lenses on our mirrorless cameras. Which lenses are you using on your Mirrorless that you like the most, and why? I figured that it might be a great, first hand resource for so many of us that use, and maybe even prefer manual focus lenses and maybe just don't have the funds for the $1200-$2000 lenses out today. I myself have a 50mm f1.7 Konica and a 24mm Vivitar f2.8. Both cost me under $60 and are terrific! Right now, for example I'm interested in a 200mm or maybe a 300mm. So let us know what legacy glass you are using, how you like it, and maybe we'll have a great resource we can all utilize. Thanks Hoggers!

I shoot a Sony a6000 (mirrorless) and I use 3 legacy lenses:
- Sigma Mini Wide 28mm f2.8 that offers macro 1:6; 1:9 & 1:45
- Minolta 50mm MC ROKKOR-X PG f1.4
- Vivitar Auto Telephoto CLOSE FOCUSING 135mm f2.8 that offers macro
1:2, 1:3, 1.4, 1:5, 1:7, 1:10, 1:20
I use Meike adapters on each. I'm happy with all 3, but the Minolta and Vivitar are my go to lenses. The CLOSE FOCUSING Vivitar 135mm are a bit hard to come by. There are a million non CLOSE FOCUSING out there. I absolutely love mine.
Hope that helps.
When you're locked down and stretching to find stuff to snap, Orbeez (gelatinous water beads) paired with weeds are kind of a fun option. Spring is just making a run at it here in our area. So weeds were a fine option a couple weeks ago. Just another just for fun entry.

Beauty. It looks like me in the Florida heat.
LOL I would very happily trade you our Illinois chill and recent snowfalls for your Florida heat.
Thank you so much SkyKing!
Just a bit of fun. Very little Photoshop. But a good bit of muttering and head scratching trying to get the note reflection and CD colors to play well together.
Actually looks rather cool even in the fragmented first shot. Obviously not what you wanted but it has character.
Side effects of self isolating.
I vote for the ketchup. Great pics! 👍
So happy for your recovery and the blessing of reuniting with your children. 👍👍
Very nice. I tried this myself recently. It's not as easy as it looks.
