I lost my camera attachment that attaches my Nikon Coolpix 510 to my tripod. It screws into the bottom of the camera and the bottom that attaches to my tripod is square and you simple pull the lever to the side and the square part slips into the slot. Help! I've looked in stores to no avail. Figure the cost to be 5-8 dollars. Anyone got a spare they want to sell or give away, gladly pay shipping.

Too funny, really I live only about 45 minutes from "Yopper" country. Michigan is a great state, plan to return for Tulip fest and Henry Ford Museum sometime. Thanks for the laugh!

Just met a friend while voting and he told me about "internal memory". I knew nothing about this but hurried home and checked my camera and there they were, I took memory card out first, turned on camera and pushed review button and "tada" there they were, was a great vacation after all. They are now downloaded in folder in Picasa! YIPEE

My husband and I went on the SS Badger trip from Manitowoc, Wisconsin to Ludington, Michigan. This was my first time so I was ready with Nikon L110 in hand. I took lots of pics and was able to review them as I was taking them through the entire 4.5 hour trip. When we got off boat , about 50 pics later, we headed to our motel where I proceeded to remove the rechargeable batteries to get ready for next day. On the next morning, I installed the recharged batteries and attempted to review my pics, which were ALL GONE! The only thing I recall is when opening the battery door the night before, my camera card was slightly popped up which I thought was odd, never recalled this happening before. Anyway, all pics were gone. I don't understand how I could review all pics the day before and the next day, they were all gone. I'm really upset about losing these probably "once in my lifetime" awesome pics. Any ideas what happened?

Currently have the Nikon L110 which for the most part takes great pics. Considering upgrading to newer/easier to use camera, considering staying with Nikon brand, but open to new brand but have not researched other brands. I take pics because when they turn out awesome, its fun. Get frustrated when results are blurry! Would like to sell mine and buy something for around $500. Need your suggestions and comments, also what is my L110 worth? Thanks all!

I've had the Energizer lithium batteries with charger that holds 4 batteries at a time, used for the last year or so. I'm finding that they do not hold their charge as well as when they were new. Salesperson claimed that these batteries maintain like new "forever" which I no longer believe. Mine take about 2 hours to charge, have not heard about the "faster/immediate" charger. Let us know if you find the batteries not holding charge like when new.

I've been trying to take pics of tractor pulling, so these are moving down the track, some so slow that people walk along side their children driving so they are safe, and others are moving faster, possibly up to 25-28 mph. My pics are bad, blurry, delete the majority. What settings do I need for this camera to get a better result? Thanks for your expert input Nikon L110 users.

WOW, getting WAY OVERWHELMED AGAIN...but I totally understand the expense versus what I'm lookng to get out of a camera. I'm leaning towards the P500 simply because when I took the camera class, my pics were just as awesome, if not better in some cases, than the expensive cameras with those huge lenses the people were attaching. Even those people with the expensive cameras were admiring my pics and the instructor also used some of mine to discuss with the class.

Thanks, it seems the majority believe that the P500 has much more to offer than my L110. And then soon enuf the P500 will be replaced with something even more improved, its a rolling ball of snow down a huge mountain. When will it ever stop and how huge will it get??? Leaning towards the P500, going to check this one out today.

I agree wholeheartedly on the bad part of hauling around the extra lenses, I tend to just hang the camera strap around my neck and go! Most of my pics, the shot would be gone by the time I attached the proper lens. I think my mind is being made up, or I'm getting closer to my decision. This is an awesome site for getting answers and helping to make decisions.
