I frerequnt a locally owned and operated restaurant that is always so busy duing the usual morning, afternoon, and final hour that more times than not you have to wait for a seat. It is an extremely popular family sit-down restaurant. They have always operated 0630 - 2030 Monday-through Saturday. 60 days ago they annonunced that that they would no longer be open on Saturdays. I asked the owner why the change and he said the staff was being worked to death on a 6-day schedule and that it is impossible to get any one to work even part-time.

Do any of you subscribe to ESPN+ for European soccer? If so, what were your experiences with this service? This winter's forecast is for a lot of bad weather so I may be spending a lot more time indoors and want an alternative to watching the abysmal programs now on commercial channels.

My ancient Dell desktop has had it and I am going to buy a new Dell desktop. Looking for advice on how to transfer everything but do not want a method that requires an advanced degree in computer expertese. I do not have vast amounts of images or data to transfer but I don't want to lose any of it.. I am wondering if I could use flash drives to transfer the images and data. Also, it appears Dell no longer includes optical drives in their desktops so, as I use that drive a lot, I need one and am open to suggestions as to which make to buy. Any advice based on personal experience will be most welcome.

A picture in an ad is almost a must to sell an item here on UHH. Adding a picture to your ad is very simple. If you already have an image of the item stored in your computer, note its address then create the ad. Instructions on how to add a image to your ad is embedded in the creation of the ad, it is an option but nothing difficult to add an image to your ad. You will be asked for the location of the image (s) of the item (s) you wish to sell which is why you should note the location of the image to be sold before you start creating the ad.

Is there a program, other than Nikon's, for downloading images from my Nikon cameras to my computer? I am only interested in downloading images, not altering images.

I have noticed in the last few months a percipitate decline in the quality of assistance you get when you contact Nikon for help with a problem. Formerly the Nikon response was lenghty, helpful and quite obviously was answered by someone who knew what he was talking about. The next to last inquiry I sent them was answered by someone who had not the vaguest idea of what he was talking about. I asked about a problem I was having with my D5600 , the Retouch menu would not activate. The Nikon person informed me that the Retouch menu was not included in the D5600, which of course it is. I didn't bother to correct him but a few days later he sent a garbled excuse that, yes, it is included in the D5600 but he still did not answer my question. The latest, a few days ago I tried to download images from my camera to my computer and found that the Nikon program I have used for years has been either dropped or modified and has been replaced with a different program, a fact which Nikon did not bother to advise those who were still using the former program. It appears that Nikon has replaced all of its experienced staff with clerks who know only how to send a boilerplate response.

If you think writing/grammar on UHH leaves something to be desired, you should read the posts on the internet news columns. Egregious blunders abound, in some instances to the extent that makes you wonder if the author had ever heard of Harbrace.

If there is no intention of altering an image after taking it, is there any advantage in shooting RAW vs. JPG, such as greater sharpness, etc.?
