If you get a chance to hit the Hill towns of Southern Spain do it..and our favorite place on our recent trip was Ronda...spectacular canyon with great night lighting...birthplace of Bull fighting..lots of Hemingway connections etc. Have a great trip. Rich in San Diego

While you are in the neighborhood, you might want to check out the Oxbow bend in the Snake River at the Moran junction down by Jackson Hole. A great spot for wildlife (Moose) with a backdrop of the Teton range. very spectacular setting. Also the huge elk herd in the preserve just outside of Jackson (north) in Winter.
Lastly, look for the wolf (and other wildlife) tracking vehicles (the ones with the long whip antennas ) they will generally be following the packs in and around the Lamar Valley. Rich in San Diego (first time response)
