Great shots of the Harriers and Ducks! It looks like you're enjoying your Z9 and making good use of your 500mm pf. I got my Z9 a a few months ago and have really been enjoying it as well.

Nice shot! Lone Peak can look very different depending on the view angle. I love the beauty of the Wasatch mountains and the recreation that they provide!!

Another outstanding focus stacked insect! I frequently view your amazing focus stacked images on the forum (although I rarely comment) and I've often wondered what kind of a set-up you have to get these incredibly interesting images. So, thanks for showing us your rig. ....and keep posting those shots that you're taking!

Wow! They're all great although I like the first one best.

Thanks! The first one is my favorite also. I just wish that I had a little more background space on the right-hand side.

Great series ! Which one won ???

Thanks. I watched them for about an hour. They seemed to almost take turns prevailing in the fight. They would fight, bite and kick for a while....then, take a rest for 5-10 minutes ......and then go at it again. While the fight and intent to win seemed real, they also seemed to enjoy it.

Really nicely done. Are they hard to locate?

I've been to the area about a dozen times and seen the horses on about half of my drives through the area. They seem to wonder through the desert valleys and hills, but there are a couple of areas that they frequent...one of which is a spring. If you are interested in locating them, send me a private message and I'll give you specifics on location and best time of day. It's a dirty and dusty road though.
