The ones I worked on where Deep Sea trawlers out of Hull, East Yorkshire, UK around Iceland, North Cape and Greenland .
Nice photos, but they are a bit on the small size as trawlers go Earl what's their main catch ?
Thank you for your warm welcome to the HOG , I'm sure I will enjoy myself .
Once again thank you
I've noticed that no one as asked about the '30 ton' tripod yet ?
I've walked down that street on Kilda , it's a strange feeling you get when you look at the old houses .I spent 6 months on that Island . If you want peace & quiet go to Kilda !
The bay looking over the small army camp .
Maybe this is a bit more clear to see ?
This is a FH70 on a range called Otterburn ( very cold and wet )
I used a 30 ton tripod to take the photo .
I spent most of the time trying to catch the action (ie the shell in flight ) I only caught it three times , not that lucky .
Thank you for your comments, one more picture from the beach? Please note the pebbles 😉😉😉
The bit of kit is a M109A2 , I've no idea where they got the .50 cal from probably from the Centurion .
I took this photograph from the mountain looking the bay at St.Kilda, no filters was used in the shot that's what the sea looks like a round the Islands. With a large bird life there ( about 250,000 or there abouts) Gannets ,puffins and other birds that live on that rock other wildlife is the St.Kilda mouse ( no tail ) . Most visitors where from the National Trust for Scotland , repairing the old village buildings. I was lucky with the weather on my visit to Kilda .
Hi Sylvia,
I live in Linton on Ouse, and of course you are right about the snow unlike last year with the "Beast from the East" that bit is .
