Pictured Rocks, as others here have noted, is not to be missed. Fall is just around the corner so, depending on when you go, you could be in for a real treat. I did a kayak trip in August a few years ago.....for a water view of the bluffs that give this area it's name.....I have attached one of dozens of keepers from that day.....
Every weekend, I look forward to seeing a posting from you sir. Your images are stunning and I appreciate seeing such excellence.
Very very nice! I love intriguing rock formations! Thank you for posting!
what wonderful images and variety! Loved the roller and starling!
If I ever go back to Hawaii.....Kauai is my planned destination. Awesome sunset!
thank you for sharing. I love the mountains and the wildlife there. Been to Idaho and loved it. your first pic was my fav by far.
always a pleasure seeing your work!
Thank you for posting so many pics over the last week or two from the Moab area as I intend to visit in September. I really love your last shot. I hope you don't mind a question or three.
What lens did you use for this one? I am planning for what gear (in addition to water, first aid kit, etc.) I haul around on my body in the Moab area for the week so I am trying to be judicious so this old pack mule doesn't pull up lame.
Right now, I plan on two camera bodies (T6i & 6DmkII) on my cotton carrier along with probably 3 lenses: a Canon 10-22mm, a Sigma 24-70mm f2.8mm, and a Sigma APO 70-200mm f2.8. The extra lens and spare batteries, memory cards, etc. will go in a fanny pack at base of my spine on my back. The water will go in a Camelback on my upper back and over the cotton carrier. The first aid kit will simply clip on the fanny pack.
Anyway, with that gear, I think I can cover most any situation and perspective I might encounter with this combination but advice from someone who has been in the area extensively would be invaluable.
Thank you again for giving me an insight into the Moab area. It has been helpful and the pics are awesome!

I can only say I am in awe......the pelican looked like it was alive on my screen when downloaded.....man I am a hack that needs LOTS of practice. You, sir, are a maestro with your gear. Thank you for showing me excellence.
And just this morning I was building my Moab trip itinerary for September and was wondering if Dead Horse State Park would be worth a gander...….your pics have shown me that it is. Thank you for sharing!
incredible view and color! Thank you for sharing!
Incredibly surreal to me. Thank you for sharing these!
