I was looking at the D750 starting in November it was $1299 then when I went to make purchase I waited one day to long. It went up $200 overnight literally. I was going to buy it on a Tuesday but decided to wait till the next morning and it went up on every site. When Nikon raises the price it is across the board. I did still buy it and it has not gone down in price again. I was so mad at myself for waiting that extra day.

I want to thank you all the great information. It truly has been a great help. I will keep you updated on my progress. I am very excited about learning how to shot with this new camera. I mostly will be shooting in gardens and underwater but want to learn everything I can. I have already taken some pictures in my garden and can’t believe the detail in the photos compared to my point and shoot. Thanks again for all the advice I will be using it all moving forward.

I purchased a new Nikon D750 camera about three weeks ago I love it but am having a hard time learning everything. I have never owned a DSLR camera. I have only owned a Nikon point and shoot. The learning curve is somewhat overwhelming. I can’t wait till I feel completely comfortable with the D750. I do absolutely love the camera just need to get out there and shoot and not be so intimidated.

Thanks for the info I really did want the 750 but thought for the money the 610 would be good. I think I should probably spend the money and get the 750.

I am thinking of buying Nikon D610 has anyone had an issue with the 610. I found it new on redtag camera for a very good price are they a reputable place to buy from. eBay gives them a 100 percent rating.

I was thinking that the D750 would be a great camera. Hope to find somebody how has used this camera for underwater photos. I will probably be spending about $6000 to get started and then add more lens later. Will most likely want to start with macro lens. This is a lot of money for me so I want to get it right. It is a hobby that I am passionate about.

Hoping to learn a lot here. Looking to buy a full frame camera. I have used a point and shot Nikon coolpix s710 for many years. It has served me well but now I want to really get some great photos that I can show off to family and friends. I mostly use my camera for underwater photography. This is my love. I will be using my point and shot this February for hopefully the last time when I go to Cozumel. Next year I want to up grade to full frame it is not just the camera that I have to buy. I have to get housing strobes port and lenses. Do any of you shot underwater and if so would love recommendations for camera. I already know what housing I will be buying. I am very happy with Ikelite have had there housing on my point and shot for over ten years with no issues. This will be a very expensive transition so I want to get it right. I love my little Nikon and would love to stay with Nikon but open to other brands.
