I really enjoyed using my D810 then during the Nikon Black Friday sale I picked up the Z8 with the 24-120mm lens.
The difference in the Z8 and the D810 is amazing and until I used the Z8 I had no idea what I was missing. I now can see why mirror cameras are being fazed out.
This was my reply from Angle Bird
Hi Richard,
Thank you for the email and for sharing the photo.
Could you please try to eject the card by clicking the USB icon?
The USB icon is located in the bottom toolbar on the right.
Find the USB icon and your external hard drive.
Click eject and wait for a message which says that it is safe to disconnect the card.
Please let us know, if you need any further assistance.
Have a great day!
Kind regards,
Your Angelbird Team / Melissa
Yes it works that way but all my other card readers you just have to right click in file explorer and choose eject just interesting.
On the picture I enclosed shows pictures on the card
Why no eject card from file explorer
Went to Adobe to redownload Classic and it reopened it on my PC so I pinned it to the task bar and all seem back to normal. Thanks for the input Merry Christmas.
I haven’t used Lightroom in ages and now this is the screen that comes up. Yes I’m getting older but this is the only place I can get with it. My monthly plan says I’m up to date. How do I get back to the regular screen where you change directories and import and everything this is all that opens up when Lightroom starts. I never had this problem in windows 10 but this is now windows 11 and all updates are complete.
So would the Nikon Z8 have the same basic problem as the Sony?
A used D300 from KEH picked up couple years ago.
As a new owner of the Z8 I’ll tell you it is fabulous. You can get an adapter to use your canon lens. I am a retired US Navy veteran collecting SS and the weight is much better for me than my D810. Still learning the Z8 and loving the experience.
Was supposed to arrive yesterday and had DR appointment so wasn’t home in time note on the door said delivery today. Web site says same so by 9pm tonight it should be here. I had tried two days ago to postpone the delivery by 1 day but UPS site would not allow. So today I patiently wait.
Nikon is currently having a sale with interest free payments. Been looking at ways of doing focus stacking and have only done it manually with my D300 and D810. So today the order was placed on NIKONUSA.COM for the Z8 and 24mm to 140mm f/4 lens and the adapter to use my other lenses. So a new adventure is coming my way.
