If I understand this situation, or similar... I have been selling and buying on Ebay over 20 years. I have used PayPal since it started. I NEVER SHIP to an address other than what is listed with the PayPal payment. If someone would ask for another address (has happened a few times) and things do not look weird or abnormal, I ask them to THEMSELVES go into their PayPal account and change the shipping address. Of course I imagine someone could figure out a way to scam anyway but I thought I would add this to the forum as I did not see (maybe there but did not read), anyone address ONLY shipping to the PayPal address accompanying the payment (although it may have been implied).

Last year I sold an antique camera case on Ebay. Guy paid right away. I shipped next day and he received a couple of days later via tracking. He gave me really high positive feedback (really like the case). Then not much later, Paypal took back the money stating the guy said he never ordered it.
I provided everything to Paypal including all sales documents, tracking and even his positive feedback. I still lost the case! Unbelievable! I have been selling on Ebay for over 20 years and been using PayPal since they started. Paypal did however give me back the money stating my good record for PayPal all these years (and I would assume Ebay as I have 100% positive feedback). This is kind of scary as it was a clean sale, tracking info and the customer give positive feedback and I still lost the case (which took about a month or so to resolve).
