July is perfect for bear viewing. Contact Rust’s Air Taxi in Anchorage. They have guides and boats for save viewing about an hours flight from Anchorage. We go there a couple of times a year on our own and have a great time.

A friend of mine is certified to fly one. There are only three flying in the country now and he flys one of them from air show to show and then gives rides. He gets to do it five weeks a year. Pretty good gig.

You’re goin got be on a boat much of the time and can recharge any time of day. If one runs low don’t wait for night just hit your stateroom and plug in. It’s a wonderful trip and living in Alaska I have made it several times. Be sure to experience the trip and not just see it through your lease or you’ll miss it. A

I’m just getting in to photography again after 40 years so I have nothing technical to say. However, for my personal taste, the white background was too bright and it felt like it distracted me from the subject. I thought the lighting on her was perfect and brought out her beautiful skin tones. If you could soften the background a little the shots would be great.

I’m rough on all my grear, ski, fishing and photo. I got a pack of ‘PREMIUM QUALITY” “Ultra Protection” from Amazon for under $10. It comes three to a pack. I have actually broken one and scratched another. The touch screen on my 7500 works with out a hitch through the screen protection. Mine are designed specifically for the 7500 and just stick on by magic. They fit exactly over the screen and you can’t tell they are there. I don’t think I would be with out one now.

How fun to be checking out your photos and find your Alaska set. Since it is my home it was fun to see a nice surprise of things I recognize and love. Turn Lake, Portagte and the always wierd igloo. Hope your enjoyed your trip here. Your shots do Alaska justice.
