No offense intended, but a camera of the same you have would involve me taking out a mortgage, but I would have to by a house first. Thanks for your reply. I have been trying to get as involved with the Adobe products as I can. I strive to take the best photos I can without having to use any tricks or software to make them the best I can.

Hello,

I am Chuck Callahan and I am new to this group and have been a photographer for about 40+ years. I have never been able to afford a fancy camera, as you all say - with its' own mortgage. The best camera I have is my old Pentax K1000, but the cost of film with all the pictures I take make it cost prohibitive to use and I have switched to digital like many others. I now have a Pentax X5 which I think is a pretty good camera. I look forward to hearing about various subjects and participating with the group.

I do have a question? Is Photoshop a norm when it comes to even the best of the best photographers producing some of the magnificently colored and detailed pictures we see on Nat Geo and other big venues or do the mortgage cameras really to that good?
