These Chamisa plants line the area next to the curb in front of my house. They are as beautiful as they are a pain to keep trimmed...Lol

I will attempt to read it. However, dodging traffic is not my favorite sport. Smiles!

Don't know why I haven't taken this shot until now...LOL

Thank you so much!

This is a reduced image size from the 50mpix resolution of a Canon 5dsr, processed just a tad to crop before size reduction. I took this with a Sigma 24mm f1.4 Art lens, one I usually leave on the 5dsr.

I just love the stark realism of Black and White photos. Not everyone shares this passion but, This kind of photography is what I try to do for mostly my selfish being.

This is a high resolution example of a simple static piece of metal art. It hangs from just outside of a bedroom window.

It was created in New Mexico some years ago by a native artist. This "house" is occasionally used by transient flying creatures during the nesting period...

Stopped in Pojoaque at Taco Bell, saw this tree across the street.

I took this to explore the use of a speed reducer. The lens is a Canon 17-40L mounted via a Viltrox .7 reducer to a Canon M6 mark 2. The resulting settings show as 12MM at 1/500 sec at f7.1 The Camera autofocus works perfectly.

Yes, this shot has been processed to the hilt with Luminar Neo, Topaz Denoise, Topaz Gigapixel and then resized with Adobe Elements 2021...Waay overkill? perhaps, however it was fun to wring it out...LOL

The original shot had a bunch of distracting items such as light poles, several cars and the usual small trash items that are usually windblown into a parking lot. Erase is tricky to use but, works!
These programs aren't for everyone but, this sort of result is possible with a bit of patience

This was done with a simple Nikon L-22 camera... love these things, they focus well almost to the front of the lens...Lol

Dandelions...yes, they are weeds! However, with a little Miracle Grow can do what you see.

This one measured three inches across.

Lotsa Smiles!

Ahhh, thank you for viewing and commenting on this photo. I shall try your suggestions.

The mid-tones are as they appeared from the camera with little or no changing. Never experimented with luminosity but, sounds interesting.

I was impressed with the overall performance of the 70-300 lens, very affordable compared to my other Canon top end L glass. I also tried several Nikon lenses via adapters and found a Nikon comparable 70-300 that did a
nice job as well.

My Canon 300mm L prime f4.0 or 100-400L is sharper than anything I have used so far. I also like the results of the Sigma 24mm, and 50mm Art lenses.

Life is good,

Bill

This shot was taken from my sunroom window. I use the tree as a subject for testing various camera/lens combos.
I reworked this single shot with Luminar Neo, and then Topaz Gigapixel 4x before resizing this in Photoshop Elements 2021 to be able to post it here.

The point of this experiment was to see just how far you could go without really messing up what you originally saw when you took the picture. Not everyone has top of the line glass so it was important to state this. This Canon 70-300mm nano focus lens does a fine job. I have Canon L glass to compare this lens to, other than the benefits of weather sealing and superior construction, if used in a careful environment, this Nano focus seems to do the job.

Please remember the tree subject is 1 1/2 miles across a canyon. This post processed image is not for everyone and
that is just fine. Everyone sees things a little different and that's why we have so many photographic choices.

Have a great day!

Bill
